WALKING A SHAKEY GOOSE

Real thinking caps not photoshopped ones.
Had to put our thinking caps on lately.  Ya know how my sisfur has started doing the shakin thing since February.  Well she still loves going for walks - however sometimes she's good for 8 kays and sometimes she only does 2 kays and then stops.  'N then Mum  has to carry her home.  Mum being not as strong as she looks meant we had to solve a problem of how to carry a 6kg goose.   Otherwise ya can get sore backs n shoulders n necks ..... appawrently.
So no other option but to surf the nets.   Google it  doggle  it.     Can we mebbe find me a border terrier girlfriend in there too?
We did find this on the internets.   It has wheels,  n a handle,  and is a backpack,  and mesh front,  n specially built for a x small dog.   Ticked all the boxes and it was meant so that Mum could throw a goose on her back to bike to the park and then do the bikey pole thing.   This was got before shaky February.    However, even though the Goose only is 6 kigs,  she is as long as a snake so this was no good from day one.  If anyone wants it let us know, ya can have it.   And we didn't want to have to carry this about on a walk on the slim to nil chance that we would have to use it.
So this is what we came up with.  Is in the tasteful New Zealand colour of BLACK n matches Goos kwality black ears.  Fits in the handbag just in case it might be needed, now that ticks the boxes.....    Read on......
Trial test - today Mum n the Goose went to Orakei basin where I went last weekend with Koru n Bailey.  As it's Friday they pretty much had it to themselves.  Oh the joy of living at the bottom of the werld and having a day off werk.
Can you see the Goose in this photo??
Thats cos she wasn't in that photo,  here she is.!!!
R U READY,  WE'RE GONNA BE GOIN UP FAST!
There's everything a dog could want  on this walk,  bush, water, stairs.   Goose all harnessed up ready to pull Mum up a verjillion stairs.
Let me just take a breather,  you weigh about 8 times s much s me.
Ok,  r u ready for the big unveiling,  next up is how to carry a Goose if it conks out on a walk!!
 ONE HANDED
LOOK   NO HANDS!!!   MAGIC???

  1. How easy is that? Wow! A goose carrier. Very stylish and subtle as well. No doggie left behind anymore.

  3. OH! Very clever!! :-) I've started to have days where I stop on my walks too - but my human hasn't got this option with me - hee! hee! Thank goodness, I usually just need a bit of a rest for 5mins and then I can carry on again...

...oh! And we were very excited to see pictures of Orakei Basin - it used to be one of our favourite walks, although gosh, it looks very different in your pictures! Is that a new metal bridge thing? And those shiny new signs are definitely new!!
